About the role

As a Mechanical Foreman, you will lead mechanical installation projects at customer sites across North America. The Mechanical Foreman is responsible for overseeing installation crews, coordinating work assignments, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and completing projects on time and within budget. This hands-on leadership role requires planning, team guidance, troubleshooting, and close collaboration with project management to deliver successful mechanical system installations.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $50,800 to $69,850 salary at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. 

 

Tasks and Qualifications:

What you will do in this Role: 

  • Complete assigned mechanical installation tasks safely and efficiently as advised by site supervision 

  • Conveyor System Layout & Pre-Assembly: Plan and complete conveyor layouts, verify component fit, and pre-assemble conveyor sections for efficient on-site installation.  

  • Header Steel, Platform, & Structural Steel Installation: Lead installation of structural elements, including header steel, platforms, and other steel frameworks to ensure mechanical systems are securely and accurately installed. 

  • Take personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of others on-site 

  • Conveyor Installation, Guardrail, & Rack Systems: Install conveyors, safety guardrails, and racking systems with attention to alignment, structural integrity, and operational efficiency. 

  • Equipment Detailing & Run-In Activities: Perform detailed installation tasks, validate mechanical assemblies, and conduct initial run-in testing to confirm accurate function before commissioning. 

  • Provide mentorship, basic training, and support to less experienced personnel 

  • Physically handle jobsite demands, including lifting at least 50 lbs, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, and walking across large construction sites in various climates and conditions
