About the role

The Mechanical Foreman is responsible for overseeing installation crews, coordinating work assignments, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and completing projects on time and within budget. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $50,800 to $69,850 salary at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What you will do in this Role:

Complete assigned mechanical installation tasks safely and efficiently as advised by site supervision

Conveyor System Layout & Pre-Assembly: Plan and complete conveyor layouts, verify component fit, and pre-assemble conveyor sections for efficient on-site installation.

Header Steel, Platform, & Structural Steel Installation: Lead installation of structural elements, including header steel, platforms, and other steel frameworks to ensure mechanical systems are securely and accurately installed.

Take personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of others on-site

Conveyor Installation, Guardrail, & Rack Systems: Install conveyors, safety guardrails, and racking systems with attention to alignment, structural integrity, and operational efficiency.

Equipment Detailing & Run-In Activities: Perform detailed installation tasks, validate mechanical assemblies, and conduct initial run-in testing to confirm accurate function before commissioning.

Provide mentorship, basic training, and support to less experienced personnel

Physically handle jobsite demands, including lifting at least 50 lbs, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, and walking across large construction sites in various climates and conditions
