- Lead or contribute to the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for diverse building projects.
- Develop detailed designs, specifications, and technical drawings in coordination with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants.
- Perform system calculations, equipment selection, and energy modeling.
- Support project delivery from concept through construction, including site reviews and commissioning support.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design for buildings.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design/calculation software.
- Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Eligible for or currently holding P.Eng. or CET designation.
- Experience with energy modelling, LEED, or Net Zero Project will be considered as an asset.
