Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an entry level Mechanical Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a wide range of basic machines and devices to provide custom solutions for our applications, development and retail teams. We are seeking a flexible learner, willing to learn a variety of CAD and PLM software packages as well as hands-on assembly of designs.

Your tasks

• 2D and 3D CAD design (Experience with NX and Autocad a plus, but be willing to learn if not experienced)
• Physical assembly and documentation of designs
• Use of PLM software packages Teamcenter + SAP to manage parts and perform BOM revisions and releases
• Collaboration with other hardware and software engineers on multiple projects
• Time and project management  through personal skills and software
• Company travel required when applicable
• Position is Richmond, VA based and non-remote

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software and Windows Office
• Comfortable working with hand tools and small power tools
• Strong time management skills, urgency, and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects
• Ability to communicate effectively, present and influence credibly at all levels
• Problem Solving – Able to investigate root-cause and suggest workable solutions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
