Mechanical Assembler (pack out) - swing shift

PURPOSE:
Assemble PCB parts, pieces and/or products using a variety of tools equipment according to required specifications, processes, and procedures in an area of production in a manufacturing environment. Ensure that all parts fit correctly and are suitable for final product
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Position parts and subassemblies by following assembly instructions and drawings.
- Assembles components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed conveyor sections.
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; reporting malfunctions.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Provide on-the-job training for new employees when appropriate.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
- Reads work instructions and C-CAM
Job Qualifications:
Education: Secondary, High School
Experience: 1+ years manufacturing experience
Required Skill: Machines related to manufacturing
Job Competencies:
- Must be able to read and work with instructions
- Team work
