Maths Teacher – The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons that develop students’ mathematical understanding and support their progress throughout KS3 and KS4.

Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

Teaching key mathematical concepts, including number, algebra, geometry and statistics

Preparing KS4 students for GCSE Mathematics assessments and examinations

Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of students with different abilities

Assessing students’ progress and providing constructive feedback

Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and high expectations

Encouraging students to develop their confidence, reasoning and problem-solving skills

Creating a supportive classroom environment where students are motivated to learn

Working collaboratively with colleagues to support student progress

Maths Teacher – The School
