About the role

As an experienced Materials Processor, you will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing process by ensuring accurate inventory management and timely delivery of materials to production. You’ll work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where organization, attention to detail, and collaboration are essential.

What you will bring to the role:

 Inventory Management: Receive, put away, and issue raw materials, sub-assemblies, and components using the inventory management system.
 Order Picking & Staging: Accurately pick and stage materials to replenish production inventory.
 Cycle Counting: Perform regular cycle counts and support inventory audits to maintain data integrity.
 System Transactions: Execute inventory transfers and reclassifications within the inventory system.
 Stockroom Organization: Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and work areas.
 Safety & Compliance: Promote safe workplace practices by wearing appropriate PPE and following EH&S guidelines.
 Training Support: Provide on-the-job training (OJT) to less experienced team members.
 Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with production and warehouse teams to support operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of inventory control principles
• Familiarity with EH&S standards applicable to warehouse operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Forklift operation experience
• Strong reading comprehension and ability to follow written instructions
• Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and manage multiple responsibilities
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and efficiency
