Materials Coordinator - Aggregate
This position will inspect materials for compliance in the field with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) specifications.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Evaluate project/process to determine current performance status. Make/recommend improvements to optimize delivery or improve results. Notify stakeholders of any changes to the project/process. Ensure project/process is consistent, predictable and repeatable.
Perform Independent Assurance evaluations in the field as described in Department procedures and/or the Federal Aid Policy Guide. Perform these evaluations in an objective and professional manner. Document and report findings.
Inspect materials for compliance in the field with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) specifications. Inspect facility and operation for compliance with their Quality Control (QC) plan and specification requirements. Document and report findings.
Support consultant contracts in accordance with applicable rules, laws and procedures. Review the consultant work effort. Review and comment on invoices.
Inspect laboratories for compliance in the field with Department contract and procedural documents. Review records, procedures, equipment and personnel as necessary to assess complia
