We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics & Shipping Coordinator to support all phases of the shipping process and ensure timely, efficient delivery of products. This role serves as a liaison between internal departments, carriers, and customers, with responsibilities spanning from order processing and transportation coordination to administrative and compliance support.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders in SAP, arrange bulk transportation, schedule loading times, and post shipments.
• Manage logistical issues with truck carriers, including tracking late shipments and resolving carrier-related problems.
• Track and trace outbound railcar shipments and maintain customer files and shipping documentation.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation, perform SAP material movements, and verify/approve freight invoices.
• Prepare labels and paperwork for sample shipments and generate weekly/monthly meeting reports.
• Attend daily production meetings to review the shipping schedule and provide logistics updates.
• Perform general administrative duties such as distributing mail, data entry, and document filing.
• Maintain and manage the C-TPAT system and provide backup coverage for logistics team absences.
• Support plant initiatives including EHSSQ, ISO, Quality, and TPM programs.
• Coordinate meeting logistics, input content into templates, reserve rooms, and manage calendars.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or warehouse functions.
• SAP experience is strongly preferred, inventory control experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong customer service skills with effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001systems and compliance standards preferred.
• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow assigned schedules.
• Experience with document handling, including mail distribution and file management.
• Comfortable performing basic data entry and using standard company systems and templates.
• Valid driver’s license required
