Materials Associate

Overview

Facilities & OperationsResponsible for daily receiving, delivering, and verification of supplies, data entry and/or paperwork within specified time frames as assigned to meet department/patient needs. The schedule for this role is 3:30PM - 12:00PM Mon-Fri and every 4th weekend.

 

Responsibilities

 

 

• Accepts, verify, enter receipt and checks expiration dates for all shipments. Ensures packages counts are accurate and condition of shipments are acceptable if not follows outlined refusal protocols.
• Accurately expedites and distributes product to respective areas and/or storeroom location. Obtains signatures for deliveries. Documents reasons for non-delivery.
• Responsible for accuracy and maintains orderly files of all documents.
• Processes outbound shipments within assigned time-frames.
• Service Oriented, effectively communicates with departments/end users.
• Ensures that work area is safe, equipment is secured and area free of clutter.

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:High School Diploma or equivalent - Required

 

EXPERIENCE:Required: Service related experience or prior job experience.Preferred: Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years in healthcare Materials Management or other related Supply Chain field.
