Education/Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Essential Functions, Knowledge and Competencies
Good Communication skills(verbal and written)
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to occasionally lift as much as 50 lbs.
Ability to lift 125 pounds with assistance
Must be able to distinguish colors and shades
Good math skills (Decimals, fractions)
Must have correctable vision to 20/20
Computer skills (Word, Excel)
Must be able to read and interpret customer drawings
Must understand the proper use of, and limitations of, standard inspection measuring and test equipment
Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8-10 hours or more); frequent bending and twisting
Responsibility/Authority
Alerting immediate supervisor of any problems in process or work cell
Handling/packaging parts to prevent damage
Maintaining a neat and orderly work area
Authorized to stop the process upon the detection of a nonconformance or safety issue
Maintaining an acceptable standard of personal appearance and cleanliness
Maintaining lot control on all parts within responsible inventories
Receiving / Inventory Control Responsibilities
Raw material inspection per established requirements
Maintaining and controlling accurate inventories (in-inspection, stock, receiving inspection, material
review)
Issuing material to work orders
Ship material to heat treat and vendors as needed
Promptly notifying Material’s personnel of material issues that may affect orders
Obtaining a forklift license
Daily shipments to vendors
Aiding purchasing team in communication with vendors
Generating purchase order for outside process vendors
Receiving of all purchased items
Line Clearance
