About the role

Overview

As a member of the Supply Chain/Warehouse organization, the Material Systems Coordinator is responsible for overseeing Warehouse operations in our ERP (SAP) system and ensuring the efficient management of our inventory. This role requires systems knowledge at the SME level, inventory management, and a background knowledge in warehouse/logistics management.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provide guidance, support, and training to warehouse associates in SAP. 
  • Utilize SME level SAP experience to manage inventory control, monitor stock levels and execute accurate data entry. 
  • Oversee accurate transactional order picking and inventory management processes to maintain inventory accuracy. 
  • Monitor communications between the MES system (PAS-X) and SAP to maintain accurate batch genealogy and inventory accuracy. Process Idoc failures on a regular basis. 
  • Identify warehouse issues and execute resolutions in a timely manner to minimize disruptions and maintain operational efficiency. 
  • Perform testing of ERP systems to ensure operational effectiveness. 
  • Develop and write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to document warehouse processes and ensure adherence to quality standards. 
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) to maintain compliance with industry regulations. 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION: 

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of warehouse/logistics experience with GMP and GDP with High school diploma or equivalent; or bachelor’s degree with focus on Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent. 

  • Additional certifications or training in warehouse management is a plus.  

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 

  • Word processing, spreadsheets, internet software, inventory management, manufacturing software, order processing, database software, e-mail, internet software 

  • Experience in inventory management systems, with the ability to navigate the system and utilize its functionalities effectively.   

  • Ability to identify issues and execute resolutions in a timely and effective manner. 

  • Demonstrates a high level of systems knowledge and software. 

 

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS: 

The individual in this position is expected to perform the following physical activities as part of the job: climbing, reaching, standing, crouching, stooping and typing. 

 

VISUAL ACUITY: 

The individual in this position should have the visual acuity required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, reading scanners and viewing a computer terminal.

This position will require access to technical data, technology and source code that is controlled under U.S. export laws and regulations, including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations at 22 C.F.R.
