Role Summary/Purpose 

The Material Planner provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. In this role, you will: 

 

Essential Responsibilities 

  Be responsible for material planning within assigned product families, (owning inventory & OTD) 

  Provide direction, material support, inventory planning and control 

  Schedule, resolve issues, track material availability, and advise on material usage 

  Design and implement processes and systems for control and replenishment of materials using IMM tools and processes 

  Implement Lean Material Flow principles on lines and product for increasing Turns and Material availability 

  Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships 

  Attain all aspects of production operation including safety, scheduling, quality, and team development in assigned areas 

  Be responsible for data driven decisions and utilizing Six Sigma tools 

 

Qualifications/Requirements 

 Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years experience in materials or manufacturing role

 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
