• Earn $ 25.00 per hour

• Shift: M-F 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

• Location:  47 Old Ferry Road, Brattleboro VT, 05301

You will contribute by:

• Selection duties will include but are not limited to: Utilize electric pallet jacks, forklifts and carts to pick products to fill customer orders or assist to bring down pallets of reserve stock to replenish pick slotsManually pick parts/cases of product from warehouse racks to fill customer orders. building pallets of products picked to fill the orders. Ensure accuracy of work and adherence to production, quality, and safety standards. Pack parts in boxes or fit products on a pallet; ensuring heavy products on bottom to reduce damage, plastic wrapping them, and loading them onto a trailer.
• Forklift operation duties include but are not limited to:Transport merchandise from receiving dock or reserve slots to proper location in the warehouse.Maintain the proper replenishment in the computer, using a handheld device, when the pallet is put back in the rack.
• Loader operation duties include but are not limited to:Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensure damage is avoided.Operate forklift and pallet jack.Inspect trailer for damage before loading.Utilize RF handhelds and/or voice to verify loading of pallets.Wrap pallet and stretch wrap.

Your work environment may include:

• Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)
• Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)
• Warehouse : Freezer (-20F to 0F)

We’re searching for candidates with:

• Specialized Knowledge : MHE/ Forklift Certification. Ability to operate stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, reach truck, cherry picker or other required materials handling equipment (MHE). Ability to operate battery hoist Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Special Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, ability and other characteristics required: Demonstrates commitment and ability to work safely. Show reliability and maintain satisfactory attendance. Produce quality work. Ability to maintain required productivity/work expectations.
• Physical abilities: : Sometimes crawling, sitting, occasionally climbing up to 4 ft. (Must have fall protection training and using proper fall protection equipment). Occasionally balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, feeling and crawling. Frequently handling, fingering, talking smelling, reaching (level: Waist/overhead, etc.). Occasionally gripping, carrying, pivoting, pushing, lifting, pulling up to 60 Lbs. Occasionally standing and walking on surface type (s): Carpet, tile, concrete. Continuously sitting, hearing, seeing and repetitive movement using both hands and feet.

Years Of Experience

• 0-2 : Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
