• Shifts: Monday to Friday 8:00 Am- 4:30 Pm

Under the responsibility of the Supervisor, the Material Handler performs warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, pallet jack and dolly operation, and cycle counting.

Essential Functions

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, pallet jack and dolly operation, and cycle counting.• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.• Maintain quality controls to ensure accuracy.• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks.• Responsible for dealing with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse and mailroom environment (i.e., bills of lading, customs documents, etc.)• Deliver shipments to end users within the location.• Scan inbound and outbound shipments into tracking system.• Interact with customer employees.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to a variety of audiences.• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)• Highly thorough and dependable• Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.• Perform work independently with minimal supervision.• Possess a high degree of initiative.• Demonstrate an elevated level of accuracy, even under pressure.• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.• Ability to work using health and safety methods.• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.• Competent in the use of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word) with experience managing critical email requests.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED preferred.• One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
