Material Handler III - 3rd Shift

Your Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the flow of materials to and from their assigned segment area
• Frequently sample weight components and enter the weight into the material master data in SAP
• Have the ability to look up materials for location and quantity in SAP
• Book material from one storage area to a Production Supply Area (PSA) and vice versa
• Follow up on inventory inaccuracies and to help implement improvements in systems and procedures to improve these in the SAP system
• Support the other segments drivers by staging material from the block store areas and by staging packaging material for the segments
• Safely operate material handling equipment and adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices
• Use hands to maneuver objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance
• Lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds based on component specifications
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

Your Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software
• Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials
• Data entry, math and computer skills
• Dependable and reliable, good time management skills 
• Experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
• Inventory and management functions
• Kanban systems
• Must be able to work well in a team
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
