The Role:
Our site in Danbury, CT is seeking a/an Material Handler to join our team. This position is responsible for the receipt, inspection, and warehousing of returned product cylinders as well as other activities relating to shipping, receiving, and inventory management as assigned.
This individual will play an active role in meeting customer delivery requirements, along with solving inventory and warehouse issues. They will also be a key contributor to process improvements and cost effectiveness related to warehouse and inventory management for Entegris Products.
This fast-paced role will have the incumbent management of multiple priorities and dealing with urgent escalations from multiple departments and teams. This role will also help with auxiliary inventory and warehouse duties such as helping locate lost product or assist with packaging, picking, and kitting.
What You’ll Do:
Safely Manage incoming return gas cylinder fleet (inspection, warehousing)
Manage the Caerus coating outbound process to ensure efficient and accurate execution.
Administer customer portals to support order visibility and documentation requirements.
Coordinate with material handlers to support CDC activities and material flow.
Work closely with other Logistics members internally and external 3 pl partners to monitor inbound cylinder returns from other regions.
Assist with the unloading of trucks containing incoming raw materials.
Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
Perform receiving transactions for direct and indirect products.
Manage Source Gas Fleet to its entire process.
Prints/initiates production orders to meet business needs.
Issues materials for production orders, rework orders, etc.
Kit finished and semi-finished goods as operational tempo require specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
Performs QN initiated material movements.
Perform Scrap transactions and submission of blanket MRB IAAF form.
Support Logistics with Export Hazmat and Non-Hazmat outbound shipments.
Ability to use Fork Truck and ladders safely and effectively to support daily company and department objectives.
What We Seek:
High School Diploma or GED
2-3 years of logistic experience in a high-volume manufacturing/operations environment.
Basic knowledge of domestic and international shipping methods.
