About the role:
Performs manual and clerical duties, which may utilize computers in the preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment for shipment. Typically involves distribution of finished goods to be packaged and sent to recipients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Pulls raw materials from bins using a pick list (e.g., identifying the specific part number, lot number, quantity and location of all items on an order) to fill the customer orders.
- Transports material (e.g., production and non-production materials) upon request, using a forklift or pallet jack, to the designated location.
- Carryout deboxing and bagging of raw material in dedicated work areas.
- Performs SAP transactions to clearly identify status of product.
- Reads, comprehends and follows basic job instructions and/or protocols including verbal, written, diagramed, colored and other related documents; written in English.
- Must comply with requirements of ISO 14001:2004 and BSC Environmental, Health and Safety standards and follow procedures and instructions related to these standards.
- Individual must have the ability to lift and move raw material, parts, tools, equipment, and associated materials in a warehouse environment of 25 pounds over head and manually push/pull rolling weight over 50 pounds.
- General warehouse maintenance and clean up.
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred qualifications:
- Associates degree
- Proficiency in SAP and WM
- Experience working in BSC warehouse
