Material Handler C - Cycle Counter Coordinator

Position Description

Ensures the inventory needs of operations are met and inventory records are accurate.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform daily cycle counts of inventory on production floor and in the warehouse(s)
2. Research inventory discrepancies
3. Recount all parts that are out of tolerance
4. Ability to effectively communicate with two-way radio
5. Must be able to walk 10-12 miles a day through the plant
6. May be required to lift or carry parts and other materials of various sizes and weights

Job Skills Requirements

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) & Google applications
• Familiarity with SAP or similar warehouse management systems is preferred
• Previous experience in cycle counting is highly desired
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous forklift experience preferred

Education

High School diplomaGeneral Education Degree

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours)Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
