Material Flow Engineer

The Material Flow engineer leads the material flow analyses and definition of material flow and delivery processes for the program

Your role

• Create and maintain Plan for Every Part (PFEP) for entire project
• Complete and Maintain Storage and Dock Analysis
• Provide detailed static material flow analyses, incorporating facility constraints, aisle networks, material routings and replenishment methods
• Lead formulation and implementation of material flow strategies
• Ensure application of Best Practices to all material flow and delivery processes
• Support Dynamic Simulation activities (Dynamic Simulation to be sourced separately)
• Other activities as required throughout the program

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 3 years professional experience
• Minimum 2 years in a related role at an Automotive OEM
• Working knowledge of PFEP method
• Knowledge of best practices for material flow
