This materials management & logistic group manages material planning for after sale/aftermarket parts. They will manage the tier 1 suppliers. The end customer is mainly the car dealerships. The number of suppliers will vary. They try to organize each team member to have 2,500-3,000 part numbers.  

 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Inventory/parts planning and steering of material control.  Receives incoming parts from the tier 1 supplier. Ships parts out to end customer.
  • Work closely/collaborate with both the supplier and logistics to ensure accuracy and timeliness of parts incoming and outgoing. 
  • On site daily A shift (8am - 5pm).

Location: Greer, SC

Qualifications

Professional experience required in the following:

  • Automotive industry, particularly in logistics. 
  • Logistics/logistics planning, inventory and working with vehicle parts and/or systems
  • Outstanding communication skills - both verbal and written
  • SAP MRP or a similar tool(s)
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Experience working and communicating with a tier 1 supplier
  • Experience in material control in an assembly/manufacturing plant 
  • Nice to have: Proficient in any analytical tools (PowerBI, etc.)
