What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, facilities, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Inspect, diagnose, and resolve complex plumbing issues using blueprints, manuals, and specialized tools.
- Design and plan solutions for large-scale plumbing repairs and modifications in compliance with applicable codes.
- Lead and mentor plumbing and maintenance associates, providing technical guidance and training on best practices and safety protocols.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts procurement, and contractor coordination to support facility operations.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of water supply, waste disposal, and gas lines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues using blueprints, manuals, and technical resources.
- Experience leading and mentoring plumbing and maintenance teams, providing technical guidance and training.
- Strong skills in preventive maintenance, emergency response, and documentation of repair activities.
- Proficiency in managing work orders, contractor coordination, and parts procurement.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
