Master Data Team Leader

Job Summary

 

We are looking for a professional or Very-Experienced Master Data person who will be a speaking partner for Business Unit Process Drivers or similar on difficult local Master Data issues and methods of analysis and solutions.  In this role, you will be a people leader, supporting the internal team on optimal issue resolution.
The position is based in Panama City, Panama.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

 

What you will do

 

As a Master Data Team Leader, you will: 

 

• Provide expert advice to regions and business unit process teams or similar.
• Drive recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
• Well-trained approvers and requestors in regions and business units or similar
• Complex maintenance tasks executed.
• Pro-actively and reactively propose and discuss solutions to difficult local Master Data issues with the Business Unit Process Drivers Lead or similar with the preparation and delivery of master data-related training.
• Drive, through the team, advanced master data maintenance-related tasks, including complex mass updates.
• Coordinate and perform Data Quality Management activities.
• Drive Business Unit Process Drivers and BEXs to improve master data quality KPIs
• Minimize differences in master data procedures across regions and global business units.
• Assist Master Data Experts in the execution of their tasks.
• Develop a high-performing team of master data professionals
• Manage regions’ and global business unit’s expectations with respect to service levels (quality, turnaround time, and coverage)
• Manage a multi-shift team to ensure that Tetra Pak’s master data needs are met (24X5 coverage, etc.)

 

We believe you have

 

• Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering, Accounting or Administration, related fields, or Very-Experienced Master Data person.
• Minimum 3 years of experience at Tetra Pak (business understanding) or Confirmed Master Data expert with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience within the Master Data area or other business areas.
• Fluent in English spoken and written
• Good networking, analytical skills, good interpersonal skills, good communication and leadership skills
• Background in any tool of automation and PSM methodologies.
