What we need:

This position will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of critical business data.  MDM is responsible for ensuring that all relevant data is properly organized, consistent and accessible across multiple systems and applications. 

 

 

What you’ll do:

• Process various requests received via email, Jotforms, Smartsheets, etc for creating and/or changing master data in the realm of product, customer, material, salesman and vendor.
• Document and follow data governance rules for data segment.
• Ensure proper approvals are obtained before creating/changing data.
• Establish request priorities.
• Help with data cleansing as needed.
• Run existing data queries as needed for business support and quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot various business issues as related to Master Data.
• Maintain daily metrics.

 

 

What you have:

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

• Working knowledge of AS400, SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Flooring Industry.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to apply general knowledge of the Company’s department procedures, practices and standards.
• Must have strong organizational skills and problem-solving capabilities and be detail oriented; ability to communicate with others and escalate/de-escalate as necessary.
• Must be able to multi-task, meet scheduled deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Must be an effective team member, role model and able to influence others without a direct reporting relationship.
• Strong analytical skills to review data, understand complex requirements, and compare/contrast options to make the best decision.
• Strong active listening skills to understand and communicate needs, as well as provide resolution.
