Master Data Controller

Job Summary:

As a Master Data Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, organization, and integrity of master data within the organization's databases. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date across all systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Data Quality Management: Monitor and maintain the quality of master data by conducting regular audits, resolving discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures.
• Data Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and synchronize master data across different systems and platforms.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data management processes and enhance data integrity.
• Master Data Maintenance: Create and update master data records in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
• User Support: Provide support and training to end-users on data entry procedures and best practices.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in master data.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation related to master data management processes, procedures, and standards.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with cross functional team and external vendors and service providers to manage master data-related activities and initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant MRP (SAP preferred) work experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Proven experience in data management, preferably in a master data management role.
• Proficiency in database management systems (SAP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with master data management (MDM/ MRP) software platforms.
• Deep understanding of MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred)
