Description

The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in helping The Norfolk Companies achieve its sales goals by executing targeted marketing initiatives that generate leads, increase brand visibility, and support the sales teams across all business segments.


This position is responsible for creating compelling content, designing marketing materials, and supporting the execution of multi-channel campaigns. As the Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible to:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and sales teams to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Independently execute marketing projects from start to finish.
  • Design marketing materials including graphics, posters, flyers, and presentations.
  • Develop and maintain the social media content calendar.
  • Create content for websites, blogs, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Support in planning and executing multi-channel campaigns (email, paid ads, social, web) aligned with seasonal promotions and business goals.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in evaluating the current marketing strategy and provide input to the marketing manager for optimization and success.
  • Assist in planning events, promotions, and internal communications.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and take on various marketing tasks as needed.
  • Leverage the latest tools, including AI, to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

What you will have for experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of marketing experience, with a proven ability to independently execute projects
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM (or similar platforms), including email marketing, workflows, and reporting
  • Familiarity with updating websites using WordPress
  • Strong design skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) strongly preferred.
  • Experience producing multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, paid ads, web)
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills for websites, blogs, emails, and social media· Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Basic understanding of AI tools for improving efficiency
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and contribute to strategic discussions
  • Attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency
  • Industry experience in building materials, construction, or home improvement is desired
  • Physically able to handle movement of marketing materials for events
  • Able to travel occasionally to events and other locations with reliable transportation
