About the role

Overview

The Marketing Operations Manager plays a key role in driving the strategic direction and operational efficiency of the marketing team. This person will oversee the marketing operations tech stack, including data management, technology management, reporting, and website optimization, to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, this role will manage the Marketing Operations team while also providing vision and leadership for process improvements and technology integration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic roadmap for marketing operations, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and organizational goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Marketing Operations Specialist and Website Specialist, creating an environment for professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage HubSpot CRM and other marketing technology to maintain data quality and system functionality.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize tools to improve team efficiency and campaign outcomes.
  • Ensure effective utilization of tools by documenting processes and building SOPs within project management tools to track progress.
  • Oversee the performance, optimization, and reporting of all company websites, ensuring they meet SEO, UX, and conversion standards.
  • Ensure website analytics provide actionable insights for marketing and business strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and actionable reporting across all marketing efforts, leveraging data to provide insights and recommendations to Brand Marketing Managers.
  • Track key performance metrics across marketing campaigns, tools, and processes, and assist in monthly performance reporting for each brand.
  • Analyze data from marketing campaigns to offer insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between marketing, sales, and IT to align tools and processes across teams.
  • Facilitate open communication and effective resource sharing to support unified strategies.
  • Attend cross-functional meetings to provide marketing operations insights and gather feedback for system and process optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing operations or related fields, with management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of website management, SEO, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, WordPress).
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology platforms (e.g., HubSpot, SEMrush).
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, lead projects, and drive process improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Physical Requirements / ADA:

  • Occasional – Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; travel or other inconveniences have advance notice; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.
  • Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
  • Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
