Marketing Intern - User Experience Design

Arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in orthopedics medical education. With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Marketing Technology User Experience team is responsible for designing the corporate websites, mobile applications and direct to patient microsites that support health care professionals, sales representatives and prospective patients. We are a fast paced, fun, and collaborative team searching for an intern pursuing a User Experience or Digital Marketing degree who will work closely with our UX design team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that enhance product understanding and usability. The objective is to support the design and improvement of our digital platforms, and user interfaces, ensuring they are accessible, compliant, and effectively communicate the benefits of our medical devices to healthcare professionals and patients. The individual will also assist with the ongoing maintenance of our User Experience team documentation and our Portal Design system.
This internship will run from January 2025 – April 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work at least 25 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.
Main Objective:
Assist the Marketing User Experience team in delivering effective web and mobile experiences while also assisting with internal projects like our UX Documentation Repository and Arthrex Design System.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- User Experience
a. Work with the Microsites team to help design engaging healthcare professional or direct to patient microsites communicating the value of Arthrex medical devices and techniques. The successful intern will provide design mockups in Figma and help execute the development of the design work using Webflow, a no-code tool that empowers designers to develop modern, responsive web experience. The intern will participate in weekly agile ceremonies, review work with senior team members for accuracy and participate in design reviews on an as needed basis.

- Work with the UX Research Lead to organize the UX Team research repository in Confluence.

- Assist in the documentation of our design system components.
Education and Experience:
- Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in User Experience, Human Computer Interaction or Digital Marketing. A college sophomore or above required. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern
