Title: Marketing Analytics Manager
Location: One Washington Park, Newark, NJ, 07102
Duties: Process and execute sophisticated data set analyses that translate data into actionable insights. Communicate data to cross functional teams and diverse audiences (from managers to board executives). Maintain hands-on knowledge of business intelligence tools and underlying data repositories used by company. Build customized business dashboards that quantify performance across multiple dimensions. Build Data science model, e.g., predictive models and optimization algorithms. Develop custom metrics to help measure business issues and performance. Work cross-functionally with key business partners, including product, engineering, data science, finance, program management and others. Develop thorough understanding of customer and emerging trends in digital media/eCommerce landscape. Raise above numbers to tell stories and inform strategies and tactics. Position is fixed location based in Newark, NJ office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience as an Analytics Manager or a related occupation involving experience in business intelligence. Experience may be gained concurrently and must include:
Three (3) years in each of the following:
- Executing advanced business analysis using multi-layered SQL queries
- Building complex business models
- Distilling large datasets and translating data into actionable insights for a digital media or eCommerce company
- Applying advanced knowledge of Tableau.
One (1) year in each of the following:
- Using data science packages including Python
- Working with Big Data in a cloud computing environment.
Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience.
