WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB:
The Marketing Analyst is the primary source of data, reporting, and analytics surrounding the hospital sales & marketing space, marketing dashboards as well as the data lead for survey-related insights & visualizations.  This role works directly with headquarters- & field-based personnel within Biomedical Services as well as Marketing & Communications to provide the necessary information to drive key business decisions impacting our hospital customers & our collections operations.  This analyst interacts directly with other lines of business to aid integrated strategic planning.

The work location for this position is 100% virtual/work from home. While the position can be worked from anywhere in the United States, the preferred work hours are on an East Coast schedule.  Standard work hours are: 8am – 6pm Monday – Friday.


WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):
Principal Responsibilities
•    Manages weekly & monthly performance reports for national and field sales efforts.  Conducts follow-up analyses to explore variances & provide recommendations.
•    Supports analyses to identify areas for improving effectiveness and cost efficiencies through financial modeling and analysis.
•    Serves as a key data resource for insights & visualizations related to organizational market research initiatives, including donor- & volunteer-focused surveys.
•    Works as primary analytic resource for hospital sales & marketing efforts, acting as the key liaison to the sales & collections operations.  Operates as a subject matter expert for hospital sales & related data.

Secondary Responsibilities
•    Provides analytic support to program managers and vendors as requested to identify additional market opportunities.
•    Provides support for research to identify market trends and conduct competitive analysis.
•    Supports forecasting projection initiatives.
•    Performs related duties as assigned.

RESOURCE RESPONSBILITY
•    Works with Biomedical Services team and outside agencies to develop reports and projections, and to coordinate overall analysis.
•    As requested, works with vendors to coordinate and help execute research projects.

SCOPE RESPONSBILITY
•    Internal organizational contacts include other Marketing units, Biomedical Services, Volunteer Services, Finance, and field teams.
•    External contacts include vendors and agencies.
•    Works with confidential and proprietary information.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications):
•    A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Finance, Business or a relevant field.
•    A minimum of three years of analytic experience.
•    Demonstrated knowledge of the marketing process: project management, market segmentation, targeting, and pricing.
•    Strong background with analytic & visualization tools, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI required.
•    Knowledge of Microsoft O
