Marketing Analyst

Job Summary:  The Marketing Analyst is responsible for providing financial and analytical support for the Marketing Department. This role will track marketing spend and sales across our marketing channels, which range from traditional direct marketing sources such as direct mail, print, TV, to digital marketing sources such as social media, SEM and SEO. Depending on the level of the candidate they are expected to have familiarity to proficiency with the marketing experience and superior Excel skills.

Essential Job Responsibilities: 

1. In this role the individual will design, develop, and maintain reports, conduct data analysis, and provide actionable insights to improve the business and the efficiency of the advertising, as measured through calls, leads and sales

2. Conduct complex data analyses across paid media, CRM and website analytics that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company.

3. Create and maintain metrics and reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact, including ROA, to develop insights and make recommendations for ad spending optimization

4. Track and submit marketing vendor invoices to ensure timely and accurate payment to PJ’s marketing partners

5. Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, technologies, and strategies

Requirements

Requirements & Skills: 

1. BA/BS or equivalent working experience

2. Previous Ecommerce, B2B, Marketing Agency experience preferred

3. Working knowledge of the various marketing channels and technologies, including paid search (Google Advertising, Bing), TV, Print Direct Mail, and Facebook advertising

4. Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Microsoft Excel) and experience with reporting and data analysis
