Who We Need
Sabel Systems is now accepting applications from Marine Corps logistics professionals interested in providing support services to the Marine Corps’ Logistics Plans and Operations Branch (LPO). The overall objective of this contract is to provide operational expertise, prepositioning strategies, and war reserve management support to the LPO branch, DC I&L, and DC PP&O. This support will span current and future operations, strategic mobility planning and GPN integration, with dedicated liaisons to MARFOR/MEFs, and also includes executive administrative support. The primary objective of this support is to enhance the effectiveness of the Marine Corps’ prepositioning and war reserve capabilities.
Sabel Systems requires a Marine Corps Prepositioning Program Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support LPO-2 (Plans). The contractor will assist LPO-2 with prepositioning programs support, serving as the lead SME for Marine Corps Prepositioning Program-Norway (MCPP-N) and the SME for all other afloat and ashore Prepositioning Programs. All work will be performed either remotely or at the Pentagon. Services require occasional domestic and international travel. This position requires a Secret clearance.
What You’ll Do

• Serve as a SME for Prepositioning Programs, and the lead SME for Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Norway (MCPP-N). Services include providing program integration and analysis support primarily related to MCPP-N, and also required to support all current and future afloat and ashore prepositioning programs;
• Review and prepare informational, procedural and guidance type publications related to prepositioning programs in preparation for staffing, adjudication and publication. This includes the lead support for Navy Marine Corps (NAVMC) 2907 Prepositioning Objective, TM 4790-XX_ Logistics Support for MPF, MCPP-N and Future Ashore sites and Marine Corps Order (MCO) 4000.58 Prepositioning Programs Tailoring Policy. Review other prepositioning related documents as required;
• Support logistical oversight/management of MCPP-N. Support updates to other LPO-2 managerial documents;
• Manage and coordinate updates to the MCPP-N Schedule and MCPP-N Action Matrix and lead periodic reviews via teleconference with MCPP-N stakeholders;
• Manage and coordinate updates to Withdrawal History Report, Situation Center (SITCENTER) Report and other equipment usage and historical records for MCPP-N. The withdrawal report requires the historical collection and consolidation of all equipment by type and quantity withdrawn for every exercise or event. The SITCENTER report requires the historical collection and tracking of equipment by quantity and type moved to and from Norway. Also required to maintain and track other equipment usage and movements not captured above;
• Support preparation, coordination and conduct of MCPP-N’s semi-annual bilateral Program Management Group (PMG) meetings. Also, support and participate in MCPP-N’s semi-annual bilateral Plans Group (PG) meetings, annual MCPP-N Executive Committee (EXCOM) meetings and other Prepositioning Program meetings and conferences as required;
• Monitor and provide SME support for MCPP-N enabled exercise and contingency planning conferences and liaison support
