Job Description
The Test Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and executing test plans for Traulsen’s Refrigerators, Freezers and Blast Chiller products. They will also be responsible for analyzing test results, identifying defects, and reporting their findings to the Quality team. They will work with Quality auditors, Incoming Inspectors, Service, Engineering and Purchasing to resolve and contain quality issues as they arise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement, and execute test plans using LabVIEW
- Collaborate with the Quality, Engineering and Operations teams to understand product requirements
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing
- Analyze test results and identify defects
- Report test results and defects to the Quality team
- Work with the Quality team to resolve defects
- Develop and maintain test scripts and automation frameworks
- Continuously improve the testing process
- Stay up to date with LabVIEW and industry best practices
- Experience with a formal Quality Management System (Such as ISO)
- Work with engineering department to create and document DFMEA and DV&P test plans for critical components.

- Experience developing and executing test plans using LabVIEW
- Understanding of LabVIEW programming language and development environment
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall
- Experience with software and hardware testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) MS Project and MS Access a plus
- Proficient in SolidWorks, CAD, and 3D model viewer/software, including attribute assignments
- Experience with test automation is a plus
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or Operations
- 5+ years’ experience with LabView in a Manufacturing environment
