As a Manufacturing Technician – Paint/Burn‑Off, you will support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing production and metrology equipment to improve uptime and ensure quality and compliance. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, coordinate calibration activities, document results, assist with equipment validation and new product introductions, and collaborate with Engineering and Quality partners. You will also contribute to SOP development, lean manufacturing initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts while ensuring all work is performed in accordance with established procedures.

What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for maintaining production equipment and performing any general maintenance in order to increase production uptime
- Provide a high level of problem-solving, diagnostic, and repair of plant equipment and equipment components which include: pressure gauges, flow meters, pneumatic circuits, valves, label printers, and other production equipment
- Using hand tools, reassemble instruments and replace components as needed Communicate status of open issues
- Serve as a technical resource on metrology issues and assist with development and implementation of technically defensible calibration procedures
- Coordinate calibration and preventative maintenance activities and maintain records to ensure proper documentation; interpret calibration results and troubleshoot any issues related to calibration
- Work with calibration vendors for on-site and off-site calibrations, equipment repairs, and purchasing.
- Test equipment set-up and validations (IQs, OQs, PQs).
- Participate in new product introduction, setting up new production areas
- Collaborate with Engineering as needed. Assist in writing new or revised Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Participate in lean manufacturing activities and initiatives, such as 6S, visual management, kaizen, and provide improvement ideas.
- Ensures all tasks are performed in compliance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures.

What You'll Bring
- Associates degree in Engineering, Technology, Automotive, Electronics, or related technical subject area preferred and or 3 or more years of experience
- Electrical and mechanical competence with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience repairing electromechanical systems
- Medical Device or Pharma Manufacturing experience is preferred
- Software proficiency (MES, ERP, Excel VBAs, LabView, etc.) desired
- Familiarity with PFMEAs
- Technical writing skills
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Knowledge of Calibration/Metrology process and requirements with an ability to deal with moderately complex processes and procedures
