The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Providing support and leadership for the manufacture of market leading healthcare products such as surgical prep items, stethoscopes, sterilizing and skin protectants, and specialty films.
- Identifying causes of product and manufacturing problems and implementing solutions
- Leading cross-functional teams to improve products and processes
- Monitoring product and process capabilities and developing plans for continuous improvement
- Utilizing GMP procedures, including validations, nonconforming product reports, corrective and preventative actions, etc.
- Supporting daily manufacturing operations
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or a higher degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience applying cGMP requirements and supporting nonconforming material investigations, corrective actions, validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ), root cause analysis, product transfers, project management, and/or risk management processes.
- Experience communicating technical information to stakeholders through verbal discussions, presentations, and written communications.
- Experience applying statistical data analysis techniques to support process improvements, investigations, and decision-making activities.
- Experience troubleshooting manufacturing processes and equipment within a regulated environment.
- Experience authoring or reviewing technical documentation, protocols, reports, procedures, or other technical records.
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives, project teams, and/or cross-functional teams.

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international
