Lucid Motors is looking for a Business Relations Coordinator to support the building and execution of the Arizona Operations community engagement strategy, tour program and other external-facing events/activations. Lucid strives to be the local employer of choice, and a steward for local education/career, diversity, and sustainability efforts. We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic leader to help develop and sustain the site tour program, manage outreach efforts, and build Lucid manufacturing’s internal and external relationships as we grow in Arizona. 

You Will:

  • Serve as main point-of-contact for internal and external Operations inquiries
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development organizations to align on and support local events/activations, workforce development and outreach efforts
  • Build, develop and manage key external relationships for Lucid to engage in the community
  • Organize external visits to the manufacturing site (i.e., group tours); manage the request intake/scheduling, on-site preparation, lead tours or source support where needed, and manage tour feedback/continuous improvement
  • Establish internal structure for tracking data/information pertaining to community engagements (e.g., scheduling, leadership communications, requests for volunteers)
  • Curate content and compile materials/displays for on-site and off-site events
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to understand team needs and how the manufacturing organization can expand its presence in Arizona
  • Drive internal culture around educational, diversity and sustainability outreach; develop internal volunteer cohort to support on-site and off-site events  
  • Limited, local travel may be necessary 

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 0-2+ years’ experience in developing and executing external affairs, community relations and community outreach activities
  • Prior experience working in or supporting manufacturing organizations (preferred)
  • Must be self-driven and action oriented
  • Must have an eye for detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests and needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new topics and subjects as needed to complete assigned tasks
  • Highly collaborative, comfortable working with people in a matrixed environment
  • Competence in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to foster and support a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork; able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues across all departments
  • Comfortable to give effective presentations to and facilitate meeting with all levels of the organization
