As a Manpower Analyst you’ll bring your consulting, strategic, and technical background to collaborate with thought leaders in organizational development on projects for the Navy and you will also use your skills as you research, develop, analyze, assess, plan and support Naval Forces.

You will apply your Navy manpower and manning analysis skills using the client’s policies and procedures guide, activity manpower management guide, and job directory to assist in the analysis of manpower governance and policy, developing program-level metrics, and helping to identify and implement opportunities for manpower resourcing process improvement.

We need someone who understands the Navy’s manpower process and can maintain responsibility for supporting government and contractor manpower program functions including tracking and reporting for the Navy. Work with us to empower the Navy’s manpower process by analyzing, verifying, and updating manpower information, writing position descriptions, creating reports and organization charts, and coordinate the resolution of issues.

You Have:  

• 2+ years of experience in a professional work environment 
• Experience as an action officer in a Manpower or Training position on a Combatant, Navy Functional, Navy Component, Joint, Service, or Echelon VI 
• Experience with manpower policy  
• Experience with conducting Manpower analysis
• Experience with working in a DoD environment
• Knowledge of the Shore Manpower Requirements Determination (SMRD) process 
• Ability to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and develop program-level metrics
• Secret clearance 
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:  

• Knowledge of the Navy Manpower Analysis Center (NAVMAC), Activity Manpower Management Guide (AMMG), and Job Directory
• Knowledge of Navy Total Force Manpower Policies and Procedures instruction  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
