About the team:
The Workforce Planning team within Customer Engagement Services ensures optimal staffing to support Walmart’s customer care operations. By aligning demand forecasts with business needs, the team enables seamless, human-centered support at scale. This team collaborates closely with operations, business units, and data science to interpret business changes through data, driving informed staffing decisions and proactive readiness. Focused on forecasting accuracy and capacity alignment, the team plays a vital role in maintaining efficient and responsive customer service, supporting Walmart’s commitment to delivering consistent and reliable assistance to its customers.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate and oversee workforce planning activities by developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to support business needs and initiatives.
- Manage workforce planning projects by setting priorities, developing action plans, allocating resources, and monitoring progress toward milestones.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance data, identifying root causes, and recommending solutions to enhance programs and processes.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while promoting ethical standards and integrity.
- Develop and evaluate business tools and statistical models to support strategic initiatives and data-driven decision-making.
- Communicate project status and results effectively with cross-functional partners.
