The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
Our Tax Technology Center of Excellence is searching for a tax technology professional to join our dynamic team. This role will help drive the implementation and support of new tax technologies, process improvements, and data analytics initiatives as required by the Tax Department.
As a Tax Technology manager at RTX, you will utilize your Finance, Accounting and/or Tax background and your passion for data modeling and automation as you design and build data models, workflows, and other custom data solutions for Tax, and maintain existing systems and solutions already in place.
What You Will Do:
Assist in maintenance and change control of Tax department systems including Corptax, Longview, R&D Credit Manager, and Tax Work Order system, as well as various other Tax department processes and tools.
Lead the design and maintenance of Tax department SharePoint sites / solutions.
Analyze available Tax data and metadata to extract valuable insights and patterns and presenting findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Lead tax technology projects from end-to-end, including problem definition, business requirements, data collection, solution development, deployment and user support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive Tax data solutions.
Provide guidance to 3rd party professional services providers to ensure Tax Technology and Tax Department business and technical objectives are met.
Utilize Alteryx, Power Platform, SQL, AgilePoint, and other tax technology solutions to streamline and automate tax processes and improve efficiencies, providing value to customers.
Develop data cleansing and transformation processes to enhance the quality of Tax data.
Lead and provide guidance to team members on data analytic projects.
Explore, clean, pre-process, and understand large datasets as you seek to find data-driven solutions to Tax department needs, and then create repeatable, automated processes.
Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders using QLIK or PowerBI.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in tax technology and data analytics.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree in Accounting, Finance or Tax or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance technology, preferably working with Alteryx, Power Apps, Power Automate, QLIK, Corptax or Longview.
Experience with Alteryx designer / server, building workflow / analytic app solutions.
Experience with Power Platform, utilizing Power Apps & Power Automate to collect Tax / Finance data and transform processes.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
General knowledge / familiarity with corporate consolidations & reporting, tax regulations, tax compliance & reporting processes is preferred, however Tax-specific knowledge is not required.
