Requirements

Must haves:

• Minimum 4 years of data strategy and data governance along with data cataloging, preferably in a consulting environment along with experience in data quality.
• 10+ years of Data Management experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business pain points, conduct gap analyses, and propose effective solutions that focus on delivering value to the client.
• Experience in building business glossary, data quality rules, processes, policies, lineage, data dictionary, and workflows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels including leadership.
• Ability to interpret and translate technical issues and complexities into business community focused verbiage in documents and presentations.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, often across geographies) and manage relationships with stakeholders
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills/technologies quickly and independently.
• Candidate should be willing to travel on business as needed.

Good to have:

• Proven track record of defining and implementing data governance frameworks and strategies, taking into consideration region and industry specific data compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA etc.)
• Experience in using data governance management tools such as Axon, Collibra and Alation
• Familiarity with ERP, MDM and Data Warehouse applications
• Experience in Retail, Wholesale, Finance domains
• Data analysis, data quality and analytics design experience
• Experience with planning, developing and deploying data governance program from scratch for a project.
• Drive change management within the organization

Additional Needs:

• The candidate will be expected to be able to support a variety of responsibilities as listed below.  The exact nature of work to be performed will vary from project to project.
• Must be willing to work various US time zones with willingness to engage with teams from India at other hours of the day
• Must have authorization to work in the United States with no visa sponsorship requirements
