Position Summary
Responsible to oversee technical implementation of system products, provide system solutions to meet customers’ business requirements and ensure staffing of services engagements to accomplish all assigned tasks. Responsible for technical direction and business development which includes meeting with vendors, business partners, and internal departments such as Engineering, R&D and Product Management. Specific duties include:
Supervising and managing technical aspects of systems development & services projects/engagements.
Working with vendors, customers, business partners and third party integrators in developing and improving gaming system products and IT solutions.
Providing technical direction and review of design, development, deployment and the support of gaming software applications.
Managing software development cycles, installation plans & strategies, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are on schedule.
Meeting with customers and exploring services and opportunities related to the Company Product Suite and generic IT requirements.
Providing IT consulting services to analyze customer’s business requirements, providing system and infrastructure recommendations that best fit gaming regulations and standards.
Reviewing server and network architecture for gaming system implementations.
Working with Controllers, Jurisdictional Gaming Commissions and compliance departments to ensure system software development and service deliveries, comply with regulatory requirements.
Serving as the customers’ technical liaison to develop professional, trustworthy relationships and addressing their technical system support needs.
Coordinating communication and technical updates with customers along with risk assessment/management throughout projects; and
Liaising with Product Management, R&D, System Engineering and compliance teams to convert customer feedback into improved software architecture and design changes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or as an Associate Technical Manager, Lead Engineer I, Senior Software Analyst, Software Analyst or any combination thereof.
Must have 5 years of experience (can be gained concurrently with experience above) in:
Designing and Coding C#. NET Windows Desktop/Web applications.
Database Modeling, Design, Reporting & Data Migration using Microsoft SQL Server.
System Design using Software Development Life Cycle/Agile
Product Deployment, Implementation using InstallShield, Wix, MSI & Troubleshooting using Microsoft Tools including SQL Server Profiler, EventViewer, IIS Logs and software and hardware text logs.
Developing Application Programming Interface for third-party integration including POS, Kiosk systems, Valet Parking systems.
Data Engineering & Machine Learning using Python Programming
