Manager, SCADA Systems

If you are an Engineering Management professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! You will lead the regional team that provides SCADA customers with system problem resolutions, field services, contract maintenance programs, system startup coverage, upgrades, and other services that ultimately generate business volume growth and customer satisfaction. This position to help coordinate and build  in this collaborative environment  with flexibility for work options can be based out of our offices in of Charlotte, NC, Brookfield, CT, Altamonte Springs, FL, Miami, FL, Warren, NJ or Pittsburgh, PA.
 

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Lead the team of engineers that perform upgrades, services, and warranty work, as well as will provide management and engineering support for SCADA projects and services.
• Assess employee skills and performance. Teach, mentor, and train employees to improve performance and develop toward their career goals. Cultivate a psychologically safe and fulfilling work environment to thrive and reach their full potential.  
• Interface effectively with key customers, building positive relationships and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through outstanding performance. Efficiently resolving customer issues with projects and warranties.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to develop work scope and implement new installations, upgrades, and service functions of SCADA to promote innovation and teamwork.
• Implement PWS growth initiatives of meeting all financial objectives and seeking new growth opportunities. 
• Perform monthly financial forecast for sales and margin on assigned projects. Additionally evaluate and lead all aspects of project cost and performance to implement procedures that improve efficiency and ensure objectives are being met.
• Supervise and coordinate personnel, equipment, and financial resources to expand the business volume and profitability of the SCADA business.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience in service, project management, or sales.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
   

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• Experience as a site manager, project manager or other leadership role.
• Past experience with the ControlWave product line.
• PE (Professional Engineer) or PMP certification.
