As a corporate level Safety Manager, you will manage the company’s dash camera and telematics platform to exceed goals for crash prevention, DOT hours of service compliance, electronic vehicle pre/post-trip inspections and safety performance reward programs. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented problem-solver with strong business acumen, analytical, communication, change management, and collaboration skills. The candidate should have a track record of successfully implementing large-scale strategic projects with an innovative mindset. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Analyze and interpret data from the telematics/dashcam programs as well as other data sources to identify opportunities and propose solutions that will to deliver world-class results in CMV safety, DOT compliance, and driver reward programs.
• Partner with our telematics/dashcam vendors to suggest and pilot innovative product changes and new features.
• Partner with Safety, Operations, and HR leadership to maintain the highest levels of program compliance.
• Communicate program updates, new initiatives, and results in an articulate and intelligent manner to executive staff and field leaders.
• Execute and monitor all administrative functions associated with the company telematics platform and dash-camera system.
• Develop clear change management strategies for new initiatives and program updates.

What you need to succeed at XPO: 

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 5 years of related work experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel
• Experience with vehicle dash camera and telematics systems
• Knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, and DOT rules and regulations
• Project and/or program management experience
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

• 3 years of operations and/or supervisory experience
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
