Job Description
Your Career
The Manager, Quoting Facilitation will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our quoting process. This role will be the central point of contact for resolving quoting issues, requiring strong project management skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal teams. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for process improvement and a commitment to minimizing downtime and maximizing sales productivity.
Your Impact
- Project Management of Quoting Issue Resolution: Lead and manage the resolution of daily quoting issues, including creating tickets, coordinating with relevant IT teams, and tracking progress to ensure timely resolution
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Sales Ops Systems, Field Theater Ops, L2 support, and Licensing IT support to streamline communication and reduce idle time in issue discovery and resolution. Foster strong working relationships with these teams to facilitate efficient problem-solving
- System Deployment and Enhancement Support: Manage and mitigate quoting/pricing/approval issues that arise from system deployments and enhancements. This includes proactively identifying potential issues, developing mitigation plans, and communicating effectively with stakeholders
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the quoting process. This may involve developing new procedures, tools, or training materials
- Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics related to quoting issue resolution, such as resolution time, number of issues, and impact on sales productivity. Use this data to identify areas for improvement and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions
- Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of quoting issues and the progress of resolution efforts. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Problem Solving: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of quoting issues and develop effective solutions
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quoting processes, issues, and resolutions
Qualifications
Your Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a sales operations or IT environment
- Strong understanding of quoting and pricing processes
- Experience working with CRM and quoting systems (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with IT ticketing systems and processes
