Summary
The Quality Assurance Manager is a self-motivated individual who leads day-to-day operation of Quality Assurance activities for CAE USA. The position has significant interaction across all Simulation Products and Services operational departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leads / manages a team of Quality Assurance professionals to ensure products and services meet all applicable external requirements (i.e. Customer, ISO 9001, CMMI, AS9100).
Interfaces with members of management, program/project, customers, suppliers, and CAE USA to proactively identify and address product Quality issues.
Review production schedules to ensure personnel are available to support the assigned task and coordinate with the Quality Director to address any capacity concerns.
Uses Quality Assurance and improvement concepts, techniques, tools, and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper practices and product deficiencies by focusing on prevention.
Monitor established metrics, identify negative trends and take corrective action as required to ensure departmental goals are met.
Supports estimation / proposal pursuits, internal / external audits, supplier evaluations, internal inspection, customer property administration, and disposition of defective material.
Track, coordinate and conduct training for each Quality Engineer & Inspector to ensure compliance with the individual training requirements.
Provide weekly status updates to the Quality Director as directed.
