Job Description
As a Manager QA, you play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the software applications, websites, and digital solutions that we design and build for our clients. With 5 years of industry experience, you possess the expertise to lead and manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and task allocation to drive optimal performance. Your leadership abilities extend to stakeholder management, where you excel in fostering effective communication and collaboration with clients and other stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and address any concerns. Experience with various testing methodologies, tools, and technologies will be beneficial in effectively implementing QA processes. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration practices aligns with our fast-paced development environment and promotes seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Summary
- Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, providing mentorship and guidance in their day-to-day activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of QA practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align QA strategies with business objectives and project plans.
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Perform complex test executions, analyze test results, and identify areas for improvement to continuously enhance product quality.
- Manage test environments, including setting up and configuring environments to support testing activities.
- People Management Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, providing mentorship and guidance in their day-to-day activities.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure efficient and effective delivery of QA activities.
- Contribute to performance assessments and provide feedback to team members to nurture their growth and development.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on project goals and timelines.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Typical Background/Previous Experience
- 5 years of industry experience in quality assurance and testing.
- Proven leadership experience in managing QA teams and projects.
