Summary

The Manager – Process & Solutions CX & Trade manages the applications group that has specific responsibility for configuring, setting up, and working with vendor to enhance, maintain and upgrade applications.

  

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform activities to support and modify existing, or create new business applications through our vendors and partners that optimize value, cost, and risk:
• Oversee our vendors and partners development tasks ensuring compliance with established Flowers methodologies and practices.
• Review and make initial assessment of issues, enhancements and projects feasibility, cost, scope, timeline and risk.
• Work across multiple teams and with vendors to review requirements, design, testing and build.
• Ensure proper application and system design is developed, built, and implemented following industry standards.
• Hold all team members, vendors, and partners accountable for assigned tasks.
• Manage application personnel, developing their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the organization.
• Manage applications team personnel and vendor thru product and development life cycle, ensuring quality and adherence to governance and controls.
• Track project, and enhancements.
• Fulfill resource management role.
• Provide status updates.
• Provide system support on and off hours.
• Ensure that applications processes (including those of external service providers) are conducted in line with corporate social responsibility, environmental and technical policies and applicable standards.
• Oversee the applications team successful delivery of business outcomes in partnership with business colleagues.
• Oversee support activities in conjunction with infrastructure and operations to ensure the applications perform well in production.
• Oversee vendors and service providers to ensure support and development obligations are fulfilled.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including, but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.

Desired Experience

• Greater than 10 years’ experience with business applications. (SAP S/4, CRM, TPM).
• Knowledge of SAP TMP required. Knowledge of Blacksmith Forge and integration of Blacksmith with TPM and S/4. Understanding of condition contracts in S4, a plus.
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders, and senior management.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical people to enhance understanding and drive decisions that lead to positive outcomes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.
• Proven ability to direct, guide and evaluate vendors and providers.
• Strong mentoring and coaching ability.
• Strong analytical, data-processing and problem-solving skills.
• Project management policy and procedure, concepts, and tools.
• Knowledge of business processes, environment, users, and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of network, Operating Systems, Database Systems, connections is a plus for support of application architecture.
• Proven experience as a primary contributor on large complex projects.
• Bakery, CPG, DSD industry experience preferred.
