JOB SUMMARY

The Planning Manager, Americas is responsible to lead a team on processes and procedures of the Planning & MDM Department, and to execute strategic projects on planning platforms, demand analytics, and change management within Belimo Americas in alignment with Belimo Corporate goals.  This role is a combination of leadership, mentoring, development, change management and project management.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Planning Manager, Americas is part of the Belimo Customization (USA) Inc. team and reports to the Vice President, Production Americas, and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives set with Vice President Production and Global Planning & MDM Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • With Global Planning, lead execution and change management of new demand planning tools, moving concepts to execution within Belimo Americas.
  • With Global Planning, Americas Sales and Product Management, strategize and develop execution plans around data analytics and deep learning in demand side S&OP.
  • With Engineering, Americas Sales and Product Management, lead the alignment of demand with data regarding new customer requirements, focus growth products, phase in / phase out, and product deletions.
  • Team responsibility for SAP Materials Planning (production, planning & superseding processes) module. Evaluating the impact of PP transactions throughout other SAP modules. Team responsibility for demand planning materials for all Americas plants.
  • Team responsibility for the product life cycle management (PLM) of the Material Master, Bill of Material, Work Center, Routing and Standard Costing at the plant level.
  • Team responsibility for the Variant Configure in SAP.
  • Team responsibility for continuous improvement on work instructions, departmental processes, optimization of work time.
  • Team responsibility for subject matter regulatory compliance, ISO and others as they apply.
     

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required in applicable business field, Masters desirable.
  • Supervisory or manager experience in matrix environments preferred.
  • Change management and project leadership are critical to success.
  • Computer skills must haves SAP ( MDM,  PP), MSOffice, Analytics Tools, CRM.
  • Must be logical and analytical, able to break down complex scenarios to executable instructions.
  • Experience in demand planning groups with significant number of SKU’s and high volume. Past participation in an ERP platform change.
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbally in a professional demeanor. Skilled in managing priorities, self-actuated, sense of urgency, detail oriented and quality focus.  Able to work in a team oriented environment.
