Our Quality Assurance Manager offers a team-oriented individual the opportunity to be responsible for the management of the quality control functions and quality control personnel.  You will also be responsible to carry out the policies of Lakeside Foods to produce a high-quality product consistent with customer specifications and government regulations.

• $77,900 - $102,270 annually based on education and experience.

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising the operation function in the production of a high quality, food safety product.
• Provide leadership on the operating floor striving for compliance in safety, health, environmental, and quality.
• Manage and supervise all areas of Lakeside's Plant operations to ensure optimal performance.
• Promote employee engagement and development to maximize production, quality, safety, and continuous improvement goals.

 

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience leading manufacturing or processing operations or eight years of experience in manufacturing or processing operations is required. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• In depth knowledge of warehouse operations, quality control, safety standards, and resource management.
• Familiarity with plant functions including facilities, logistics, and maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP a plus.
• Experience working in a union environment is preferred.
