Under the direction of Vice President, Mission Partnerships, the Manager, Mission Partnerships supports account management for our IQT government partners. As part of the Mission Partnerships team, this individual translates our partners’ highest priority use cases and applies venture-backed startup technology to impact operations and analysis across the government partner. Working across an extremely diverse mission set and diving deep into partner challenges, this individual acts as a liaison between the government partner and the emerging technology ecosystem. Working across a broad, cross-functional team, including IQT staff as well as government representatives, in a fast-paced, collegial, and collaborative environment for the sole purpose of impacting mission.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact with government partner throughout the IQT relationship lifecycle, including successfully onboarding the partner and driving IQT resources to find/implement technologies that support their missions.
- Supports the execution of a strategy to align IQT’s capabilities and added value programs with government partner problems and priorities.
- Support in the development of Government Partners IQT annual problem set.
- Prioritize and ensure alignment of Government Partner(s) needs with investment opportunities and other IQT impact vectors.
- Support an engagement plan that maps IQT tech and Investment team members to key national security partner stakeholders.
- Coordinate between IQT Teams and Government Partner(s) to create technology transfer plans, facilitate testing and evaluation of IQT technologies, surface/resolve problems, and improve current technology solution transfer practices, including identifying additional end-users for emerging technology pilots.
- Serve as a sounding board to IQT colleagues on Government Partner(s) needs and priorities based on ongoing interaction.
- Develop and maintain a robust professional network of contacts within Government Partner(s) as a resource for identifying the highest priority mission challenges.
- Support the delivery of key IQT impact vectors to Government Partner(s), including situational awareness, Insights, IQT Labs, and advisory services.
- Document impact from IQT activities at the various Government Partner(s) supported.
Qualifications
- Due to contractual reasons, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required with optional polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience (or equivalent experience) working across U.S. Government Civilian Agencies and the Intelligence Community, with a minimum of 4 years directly supporting the National Security Community.
- Intelligence Community experience in one of the following disciplines: Analysis, Operations, Collection, Information Technology or Cybersecurity.
- Experience serving large, complex government organizations in one of the following managerial capacities – customer success, strategic development, account/program management or technical sales support.
- Effective at establishing and maintaining ongoing interaction with government partner executives, management, and technologists, including demonstrated experience in developing and implementing an account-wide plan/program.
- Ability to work with strong technologists and subject matter experts, including a proven track record of earning the confidence of such players.
- Effective in orchestrating cross-functional company efforts addressing a Government Partner(s) technology requirement, including working with company executives and business/investment managers responsible for sourcing companies with solutions.
- Experience working with leading-edge technologies, including supporting a wide range of technologies at any given time.
- Strong initiative to implement new tactics that support the specific Partner’s ability to accelerate technology to mission.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, demonstrate an accurate understanding of a Government Partner(s) technology requirements as well as the company’s ability to address those needs.
