Job Description
We are a Chicago-based Carat team, and we are looking to add a Manager, Media Planning to our team. Your responsibilities will bring you in person with your team and client on a periodic basis.
We support a well-known health food brand with their integrated media planning needs. As the Manager you will serve in an important junior/mid-level role with one junior level person reporting to you. In time there could be more direct reports. You will report directly into the VP, Director Planning. You must demonstrate a working knowledge of the media space (Traditional and Digital media preferred) and available media research and systems. You will help manage the daily tasks by assuring focus on main client objectives and communicating appropriate resource needs to meet ongoing client goals.
Responsibilities:
- 1+ years of experience working on one large account (retail client preferred)
- Understanding of all media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines (SEM, Social, TV, OLV, OOH, and Radio)
- Experience with upper funnel media awareness campaigns, but balanced with a performance mindset
- Coordinate with creative teams on creative assets and accounts needs
- Coordinate with multi-channel teams to design the latest, strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across a myriad of awareness-based channels (TV, CTV, Video, Social, Programmatic and Audio)
- Comfort overseeing and communicating directly with clients on questions and media programs
- Help evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables
- Experience w/ analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights
- Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart
- Guide media channel selection and forward think on new opportunities
Qualifications
- 2+ years of total large media agency experience
- 1+ year of relevant media planning and buying experience in the digital media space
- 1+ year of experience with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000 - $83,375 Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
